For under 18’s we offer private family SUP sessions in all locations or kids only sessions at all of our locations. Children 8+ or even younger (please call to discuss) we can accommodate at our Brentford Lock location. This is a hidden gem on the Grand Union canal in Brentford – a short distance away from our main location at Kew Bridge. Brentford lock is very quiet and calm, perfect for young children, teenagers and beginners of all ages who are looking for a gentle introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding. We have canoes available for the really hesitant ones who are worried about balance and definitely don’t want to get wet. Canoes can be added by arrangement. 

We can accommodate children 11+ at Paddington Basin and at Kew Bridge. 

Family sessions at Kew Bridge are dependant on tides, weather and experience of paddlers. Family sessions with younger teenagers can only be taken on a low tide on the River Thames (tides are not regular and vary every day). We do not indicate whether it is a low tide or a high tide session on our scheduling (this would cause too much confusion!)  so best to call us to check what the river is doing on the day you have in mind and we can tell you whether we can accommodate you. 

We have an Adventure Activity Licence issued  by the HSE so you can be assured of best safety practices. 

We offer 2-hour children’s SUP parties at our Brentford Lock from £35/child (off peak) £45/child (peak). We can take groups of up to 18 young people from aged 8 upwards. All children need to be confident swimmers.
